Created from
real relocation experience.
EuroHaven was created by Dr. Ashton Schottler, the creator behind the Youtube Channel TypeAshton.

Our family moved to Germany in 2013, and we had to figure out the relocation process the manual way: documents, housing, appointments, pets, jobs, insurance, registration, and all the small details that generic checklists never really explain. We wasted countless hours, money and stress with mistakes that should have been avoidable.

To help others along the way, TypeAshton grew out of sharing practical stories about life abroad, Europe, Germany, culture, relocation, and the reality of building a life outside the United States. But we wanted to go one step further.
Â
In 2026, EuroHaven grew out of that same experience — not as another generic moving checklist, but as a practical planning tool for the real details people run into when moving to Europe.

The goal is simple: make European relocation feel less scattered, less mysterious, and more manageable.
Why EuroHaven exists
Moving to a new country shouldn't feel like a full-time investigation. We saw too many people spending hundreds of hours reading conflicting forum posts, outdated blogs, and translated government PDFs, only to be rejected at an appointment because they missed one specific, unlisted document or apostile.
EuroHaven exists to bridge the gap between administrative requirements and human lives. We take the technical, bureaucratic rules of European relocation and translate them into a clear, followable architectural plan. Our goal isn't just to help you move, but to help you move with the quiet confidence that your paperwork is handled correctly the first time.

What This European Relocation Platform is built around:
Practical
Clarity
Proactive
Planning
Europe-wide Thinking
Human Language
We prioritize specific, actionable steps over high-level advice, so you always know what to do next.
Relocate planning is hard, and we’re proactive about where bureaucracy requires human patience and planning.
Your plans are built with a vision for all of Europe, ensuring country-specific details mesh into a coherent move.
Bureaucracy shouldn’t feel like a secret code; we translate administrative tasks into language you actually use.
