1. What EuroHaven is

EuroHaven is a Europe-focused relocation planning platform.

EuroHaven helps users organize a move to Europe by creating personalized relocation plans based on information entered by the user.

 

EuroHaven may provide:

  • Relocation planning information

  • Personalized task lists

  • Document checklists

  • Task sections

  • Timing and deadline planning

  • Task dependencies

  • Household and family-member planning support

  • Pet, vehicle, housing, work, and arrival-related planning tasks

  • Progress tracking

  • Website guides and relocation resources

EuroHaven is designed to help users understand and organize relocation steps. It does not complete official processes on behalf of users.

2. What EuroHaven is not

EuroHaven is not a law firm, immigration adviser, tax adviser, financial adviser, insurance broker, government agency, consulate, relocation agency, or official authority.

EuroHaven does not:

​

  • Apply for visas or residence permits on your behalf

  • Submit documents to government offices

  • Book official appointments

  • Provide legal, tax, immigration, financial, insurance, or official government advice

  • Guarantee that a visa, residence permit, registration, insurance application, housing application, school placement, pet import, customs process, or other relocation outcome will be approved

  • Replace official guidance from governments, municipalities, consulates, employers, schools, insurers, tax offices, customs authorities, or qualified professionals

Information provided by EuroHaven is for general planning and organizational support only.

You are responsible for verifying official requirements before acting.

3. Requirements can change

Relocation requirements can vary by country, region, municipality, consulate, immigration office, employer, school, insurance provider, landlord, family situation, nationality, visa route, and individual circumstances.

Requirements can also change over time.

​

EuroHaven aims to provide useful and practical planning information, but we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current, or applicable to your specific situation.

Before making decisions or submitting documents, you should verify important requirements with the relevant official authority, qualified adviser, consulate, employer, school, insurer, municipality, or other responsible organization.

4. User accounts

To use certain EuroHaven features, you may need to create an account.

EuroHaven generates relocation plans, tasks, document checklists, dependencies, and timing suggestions based on information you enter.

If your circumstances change, your plan may need to be updated.

EuroHaven does not guarantee that generated tasks, documents, timings, or dependencies are complete, legally sufficient, or suitable for every user.

6. Household and family-member information

EuroHaven may allow you to enter household or family-member information to create a more accurate relocation plan.

If you enter information about another person, including a spouse, partner, child, dependent, or household member, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to provide that information and that it is accurate and necessary for your relocation planning.

​

Children are not intended to create EuroHaven accounts or use the service directly.

​

Parents or legal guardians may include child-related information in a household relocation plan where needed for planning purposes.

7. Website guides and content

EuroHaven website guides are provided for general informational purposes.

​

Guides may cover topics related to relocating to and living in Europe, including immigration and residency processes, registration requirements, healthcare, documents, housing, employment, family relocation, pets, vehicles, customs, insurance, and other practical aspects of moving between countries.

​

Website content is not legal, immigration, tax, financial, insurance, or other professional advice and should not be treated as official government guidance.

​

Requirements can vary by country, region, personal circumstances, and immigration status and may change over time. Users are responsible for confirming current requirements with the relevant authorities or qualified professionals before making decisions or taking action.

Where appropriate, EuroHaven may link to official sources or third-party service providers for additional information.

8. Third-party links, partners, and affiliate links

EuroHaven may link to third-party websites, official sources, service providers, partners, or affiliate/referral partners.

These third-party websites and services are not controlled by EuroHaven. We are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices, prices, services, or availability.

Some links may be affiliate or referral links. EuroHaven may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Always compare providers and review their terms before choosing a service.

A link or mention does not mean EuroHaven guarantees or endorses the provider’s suitability for your specific situation.

9. Paid features and payments

EuroHaven offers paid features, digital services, or access to the EuroHaven relocation planning application.

Prices, included features, applicable taxes, and any relevant payment terms will be displayed before purchase.

​

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Stripe’s own terms and conditions may also apply to payment processing.

​

Any applicable refund, cancellation, or withdrawal rights will be provided in accordance with the terms presented at the time of purchase and applicable consumer protection law.

10. Digital content and right of withdrawal

Consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days, subject to applicable law and any applicable exceptions.

​

For digital content or digital services that are made available immediately after purchase, the right of withdrawal may be affected where the customer has expressly requested or consented to immediate performance and the requirements of applicable consumer protection law have been met.

​

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, or other consumer rights available under applicable law.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use EuroHaven for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to access another user’s account

  • Interfere with the operation, security, or performance of the service

  • Upload harmful code or malicious content

  • Attempt to scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or reproduce substantial parts of the app without permission

  • Misrepresent your identity or relocation details in a way that harms EuroHaven or other users

  • Use the service to provide competing commercial relocation tools without permission

12. Service availability and changes

EuroHaven is under active development.

We may update, improve, modify, remove, or discontinue features, content, templates, task logic, document lists, supported countries, or app functionality at any time.

​

The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party provider outages, or updates.

​

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

13. No guarantee of outcomes

EuroHaven provides planning and organizational support.

 

We do not guarantee:

  • Visa or residence permit approval

  • Successful registration or Anmeldung

  • Health insurance acceptance

  • Housing approval

  • School or childcare placement

  • Pet import approval

  • Customs clearance

  • Vehicle registration

  • Driving license exchange

  • Tax treatment

  • Appointment availability

  • Any other official, legal, administrative, or relocation outcome

Your relocation outcome depends on your specific circumstances and the decisions of relevant authorities, service providers, employers, landlords, schools, insurers, and other organizations.

14. Intellectual property

EuroHaven, including the website, app design, content, brand, logo, task structures, planning logic, text, graphics, guides, and related materials, is owned by The Black Forst Family UG (haftungsbeschränkt) or its licensors.

You may use EuroHaven for your personal relocation planning.

​

You may not copy, resell, reproduce, publish, distribute, or commercially exploit substantial parts of EuroHaven without written permission, unless permitted by law.

15. User content and data

You retain rights to the personal information and relocation details you enter into EuroHaven.

​

You grant EuroHaven the right to process that information as necessary to provide the service, generate relocation plans, save progress, operate the app, provide support, maintain security, and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

​

Please do not enter information that is unnecessary for your relocation planning.

16. Privacy

EuroHaven processes personal data according to the Privacy Policy.

17. Limitation of liability

EuroHaven provides informational, planning, and organizational tools to assist users with relocation. EuroHaven does not guarantee the outcome of visa or residence applications, registrations, appointments, housing searches, insurance applications, or other relocation processes handled by third parties or public authorities.

EuroHaven is liable without limitation for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and where liability cannot otherwise be limited under applicable law.

​

In cases of slight negligence, EuroHaven is liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations and only to the extent of damages that were reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded.

​

Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.

18. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to EuroHaven if:

​

  • You violate these Terms

  • Your use creates legal, security, technical, or operational risk

  • Payment fails for a paid service

  • We discontinue the service or a relevant feature

  • We are required to do so by law

You may stop using EuroHaven at any time.

​

You may request account deletion according to the Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we may take reasonable steps to inform users, such as by posting an updated version on the website, notifying users in the app, or sending an email.

The updated Terms apply from the date shown above, unless stated otherwise.

If you continue using EuroHaven after updated Terms take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

20. Consumer dispute resolution

We are not willing or obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law.
